A nostalgia radio show – Bing Crosby, Doris Day et al – what could go wrong?

Retired small businessman Michael Sears is the recipient of an Order of Australia for his services to community radio. His long running show offers easy but authoritative conversation about the films and music of the forties and fifties. Think Bing Crosby and Doris Day. The embodiment of John Howard’s “comfortable and relaxed.” But even a small incident can release the fears and antipathies within a nation. And a minor studio problem can make for a very different nostalgia program. All on Golden Memory 82.5 FM.
