Presented in partnership with The Boite: creating opportunities for culturally diverse music to contribute to a richer, more inclusive Australia since 1979.

Iranian culture is well-known for its richness, multi-dimensionality, and influence. Melbourne’s Iranian community boasts musicians representing classical, traditional and contemporary aspects of Iranian musical culture. Can these diverse angles meet? Bringing together personal perspectives of these influences through music, poetry and improvisation, this performance shares a perspective on finding new connections through the joy of shared creativity informed by tradition and experimentation.

The show will also be livestreamed on Sep 5, Monday, 7:30pm. Livestream playback will be available for 48 hrs.
