In November 2019, Musica hosted “Inside the Music City,” bringing together a diverse range of artists to explore what it could look like to thrive rather than just survive in the so-called live music capital of the world. We discovered that people at all career stages craved connection, purpose, and above all, community.
Two years on, we’re taking what we learned and celebrating the players, makers, composers, teachers and listeners that create our communities. Join us in reimagining what it is to be a musician today. Leave your imposter syndrome at the door and be part of a conversation about how we can collaborate rather than compete; and build community across generations by organising with care as a priority.
