Locations: Tue, Wed, Thurs: Outside La Mama HQ; Sat: Carlton Highrise Estate garden and recreation area, part of The Puppet Picnic.

A puppet-human-bike musical that triumphs over the extraordinary travails of one unbelievable bike heist!

Puppets, people, and toe-tapping songs combine in this over-the-top tale about a bicycle theft . . . When Robert steps out into the night he catches thieves in the very act of stealing his beloved bicycle! The love of his life!! (that is, a close second to his wife anyway!) This rollicking tragicomedy takes you on a journey through the highs and lows of lost love, questionable social responsibility, confession, and possible redemption. Unimaginable and yet inspired by real events, Rolling! is the wishful thinking of how things might have been.

“Quirky and quietly hilarious!” – Jack, Castlemaine
