Gwangal Moronn—the season of honeybees, sunrises and flocks of birds

Hear Amos Roach share music from his Six Seasons project, recreating ancient songs and dances of the Kulin Nation. This concert will celebrate Gwangal Moronn—when Country starts to cool after summer heat.

Amos is a Djab Wurrung / Gunditj Mara and Ngarrindjeri man whose voice travels between the Desert, the Riverland, and the Saltwater to the city like smoke from a fire. Amos is a cultural practitioner. His music is part of the song-line that connects people and Country: a narrative of healing, expressed through song and dance.

Musica Apr 2024: Amos Roach will also be livestreamed on Monday, Apr 1, 7.30pm. Livestream playback will be available for 72 hours after the show.
