The event which is Maude Davey, made strange by the unaccustomed gaze
Freewheeling down unreliable dreamscapes – limestone cliffs and sand so much sand on legs and feet and we jumped off the bridge into the river is that a memory or a fantasy? Does it matter when it’s all gone anyway, the water and the children and the shiny orange dragstar.
A memoir, a reflection, an assemblage of selves that might make sense of the world that is through the prism of the world that’s gone. Who am I if all I was is gone? Some songs a bit of prancing and lots of talking. A narcissistic phenomenological reimagining of the subject.
