butterfly soupe is an immersive installation art-piece-turned-dance-party celebration of loss and life.

An experiment in biomimicry and interactive dance, butterfly soupe is a dance party toast to the soup we’ve been, and to butterflies in transition. If one were to pierce a cocoon or chrysalis mid-transformation, what comes spilling out is soup; alive and dead and dancing; formed, forming, formless.

buttsoupe is a cheers to the cycle of death and rebirth, to the green on burnt wet eucalyptus, the soupy contradiction held within transitional space, and the creatures we become in the aftermath.
