Jennifer Mackenzie is a poet and reviewer, focusing on writing from and about Asia. She has had a lifelong engagement with Indonesia, and her most recent book is Navigable Ink (Transit Lounge 2020), a homage to the Indonesian writer, Pramoedya Ananta Toer. She is currently working on a collection of essays, Writing the Continent.
Michael J. Leach is a Bendigo-based writer and an academic at the Monash University School of Rural Health. His poems reside in Cordite, Meniscus, Rabbit, Unusual Work, Plumwood Mountain, Live Encounters, The Blue Nib, the Medical Journal of Australia, and elsewhere. Two of Michael’s plays have been performed by Bendigo Theatre Company. His first book is Chronicity (Melbourne Poets Union, 2020).
Maxime Banks is a transdisciplinary artist, poet and filmmaker and is a time traveller of the Black American diaspora, with Chicago, Louisiana and Mississippi roots. She is creating an Afrogalactic archive and exploring non-linear counter-narratives. Maxime featured in the Melbourne Fringe Festival Show ‘Black to the Future’ and is a 2020 Artsbox Artist in Residence.
K.F. Pearson has been a poet, publisher, art critic, journalist, editor and anthologist and he has survived fire, lightning and gunshots. He has published six collections of poetry, the first in 1984 and the last in 2006. The Complete Apparition, featuring his invisible hero, was published in 2021.
