Join us for a fun Christmas from Jerusalem performance, children’s interactive activities, music and a special screening of ARDNA!
The day will unfold with community at its heart:
12pm – 1:30 pm music and activities for the kids and family outside under Bukjeh’s iconic canopy. Bring your lunch and bask in the community spirit
1:30 pm – 3 pm enjoy a special Christmas performance on the outdoor steps of La Mama HQ. You are invited to share your Christmas and family stories in this time.
3:30 pm – 4:30 pm Screening of ARDNA inside the rehearsal hub
4:30 pm – 5 pm Q&A about ARDNA
A bit about ARDNA:
ARDNA: Our Land, is an innovative new collaboration between Aseel Tayah and respected Yorta Yorta theatre maker Jason Tamiru for primary school children aged 5+. Ardna uses Indigenous and Middle Eastern dance, songs and storytelling to explore our connection to physical land.
