Don’t expect a well crafted play.

Our team has been exploring the notion of  non-theatre theatre at La Mama across five decades, drawing off 20th century Experimental Theatre and Visual Arts, but also responding to political attitudes, social divisiveness and apathy.

Our ways of communicating include the provocative, the horrific, the peaceful and stillness amongst other ploys. There are actions that include movement, but not dance. We regard parts as amusing, but not funny.  We use our voices but do not sing. Confusion lies low… gentleness is lurking.

A major aspect of our performances is to show genuine regard for our audiences.

Note this work is not personal.
