It’s time to unleash the power of theatre to save the world, or at least make some trouble trying.
Part rousing theatrical speech, part neurotic inner monologue, part audience conversation, this performance delves into the existential challenge of facing climate change as just one of earth’s many human inhabitants.
From the personal to the universal, the show is not just an act, it’s activism. An attempt to face the uncomfortable questions and inspire action to replace the paralysis, apathy, denial and confusion that frequently overwhelms us all in our day-to-day quest for survival.
We ride our bikes, use induction cook-tops, mend our clothes, reduce, reuse, recycle and we’ve switched our bank accounts to divest from fossil fuels. But is it enough? No. It’s time to unleash the power of theatre to help save the world, or at least make some trouble trying.
