Script Appraisals

La Mama has a long history of offering a script appraisal service for writers, offering written feedback and suggestions for opportunities moving forward. This has always been a national and very popular service and is also often a first step in the La Mama programming process. From 2023 we will have a panel of diverse script readers available to read unsolicited scripts from all Australian playwrights. Playwrights will have the option to receive one page of written feedback or a phone conversation (at no cost) with the option of an ongoing dramaturgical dialogue (at a small fee).
