La Mama is written by Adam Cass with the La Mama Theatre Community and is published by Miegunyah Press, an imprint of Melbourne University Publishing. This beautiful book is a rich, chaotic oral and visual history of La Mama. It is a celebration of the thousands of people who have made La Mama, and of the infinite ephemeral moments which have shaped careers, changed lives, and have combined to create such an incredibly significant contribution to Australia’s cultural and social fabric.

The book will be available from Readings and bookshops around the country ($55 RRP).

Friends of La Mama can get their copy through La Mama for $50!

Books will be available throughout our mini-fest or you can purchase your copy here and pick it up from the La Mama office (MondayFriday, 10.30am – 5.30pm) or from La Mama/La Mama Courthouse Box Office (one hour before show time).
