Book online:
Tickets for all shows at La Mama can be pre-purchased on this website and sold through Ferve. Booking links are available on the individual show pages.
Buy your tickets at the door:
It’s best to get your tickets ahead of time just in case we’re booked out, but you’re always welcome to try your luck at the box office, La Mama HQ opens 7 days a week from 11am.
Phone bookings:
You can make a booking by calling us on (03) 9347 6948. Over the phone you can either pay for your tickets via credit/debit card, or reserve them to be paid for on arrival at the show.
If you call up our box office and don’t get through to someone, please either leave a message or send us an email to [email protected].
Wheelchair tickets:
When you first book with us, select a normal ticket and include your access needs in the checkout questions. Our ticketing team will exchange your ticket for a wheelchair ticket, and a companion seat will automatically be reserved for free. Two seats are held: one for you and one for your companion.
In the future, if you book using the same email address, you’ll be able to see and select wheelchair ticket types directly and book for yourself.

Please don’t print your tickets, as we’ll have your name at the door, so just check in at the box office at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the show.
School Bookings
School bookings open at the commencement of Term 1 2026 on Monday 2 February.

VCE ticket Package A @ $45pp - (teachers & students)
(incl school VCE concession ticket for performance, forum option, & published script to collect at theatre)
VCE ticket Package B, $48pp - (teachers & students)
(incl as above, & postage and handling of script)
Non VCE school ticket is $30 - (teachers & students)
(school concession ticket for performance incl forum option, for non VCE students & teachers)

Optional Add-on: Revision Video Access
For schools wishing to support their students’ VCE revision, a professionally recorded video of the performance will be available for one-month viewing before the end of the term.
This must be selected and paid for at the time of booking as an add-on. A single flat fee applies based on your group size.
Pricing (once per booking):
• Up to 10 students – $50
• 11–20 students – $100
• 21+ students – $200 (capped)
We encourage early selection to allow us to prepare the correct resources for your group. Video links will be shared securely with the booking contact.
This add-on will be included in the single invoice or payment for your school’s tickets. No additional billing later in the year.
For other shows in La Mama Presents 2026
For other shows suitable for schools, please head to the individual event pages and purchase concession tickets ($25 pp) for the students.
How to Book School Tickets
Step 1: Select your tickets
On the event page, choose the number of tickets required for each category (three ticket packages) that applies to your group.
Step 2: Optional add-on – On-Demand Revision Video
A single flat fee applies based on your group size and you only need to select a quantity of 1 based on group size.
Step 3: Complete the booking questions
Once you’ve selected your tickets, please fill in the required question fields that pop up:
- School Name
- Supervising Teacher’s Email Address (Please use this same email address at checkout)
- Supervising Teacher’s Mobile Number
- School Accountant Email Address (for invoice bookings)
Step 4: Add to cart and check out
Add your tickets to the cart and proceed to checkout.
You’ll be taken to the Account Login page - please use the supervising teacher’s email address.
If you don’t already have an account, you’ll be prompted to create one.
Follow the prompts and complete all required details.
Important details to note:
Under Contact Number, please enter the mobile number of the teacher who will be the primary contact on the day and accompanying students.
Enter the supervising teacher’s First Name and Last Name
Step 5: Select payment method
Under Payment Details, select Invoice.
Confirm your booking.
Step 6: Invoice and confirmation
You will receive an unpaid invoice from La Mama by email.
Please forward this invoice to your school accountant for payment. The payment instructions can be found at the bottom of the invoice. To secure your booking, please arrange payment within 30 days.
Once payment has been received, you will receive another email with the ticket QR codes to confirm that your tickets are fully locked in.
