Back for it’s 9th fabulous year, Homophonic! is bringing the disco ball to the concert hall, celebrating the amazing sounds of todays LGBTIQ+ composers. Presenting the winner of the inaugural “Homophonic! Pride Prize” Stephen De Filippos blistering new work “Star Pic” for amplified piccolo, bass drum, and electronics, performed by flautist Laila Engle; alongside works by Christina Green, Naima Fine, Wally Gunn, Laura Kaminsky, and Sean Shepherd. Performed by Melbourne’s most in demand classical musicians, and The Consort of Melbourne. Come and experience Melbourne’s only classical music concert with a cult following.
