Weekend Manager

Isabel’s work within the theatre industry is varied and constantly evolving. She is an actor, singer, theatre maker, curator and producer. She graduated with a Diploma in Theatre Arts (Melbourne Polytechnic, 2017) and is regularly involved with creative and professional workshops and short courses. 

As well as writing and performing her own work, Isabel  tours nationally to appear in showcases, most recently to Tasmania with Minx Cabaret. Her work in theatre and musical theatre is extensive. Her most recent theatre credits include; Abby in The Musical of Musicals (2020), Lady Macduff in Her Hour upon the Stage  (2019) and lead performer at Witches in Britches Theatre Restaurant (2019/2020). 

Isabel’s work at La Mama has evolved from volunteer to Front of House and more recently her current role as Weekend Manager. She also co curates La Mama Cabaretica, a quarterly late night cabaret offering, with Susan Bamford Caleo.  She is deeply passionate about independent theatre and is excited by its possibilities and evolution post lockdown.
