Producer and Front of House Manager

Amber Hart scored a dream role as the house manager at La Mama in 2012, and has been happy ever since as a member of the vibrant La Mama family.

Amber took her first job at La Mama in 2009 after moving to Melbourne from Sydney, and knew right away that La Mama was home.

Amber first started drama lessons at the age of 7 with Bryan Brown teaching at The Shopfront Theatre in Carlton, Sydney. Inspired from then on, Amber has performed most of her life in theatre and dance, and graduated with a Bachelor of Theatre at UWS Nepean in 2003. After moving to Melbourne in 2009, Amber began working in production, stage management, sound and lighting design and operation.

Desperate to move to a more creative role, Amber recently began performing as part of Lloyd Jones wonderful ensemble (on-song-ball) and co-directed her first show in 2014 at La Mama with Daniel Lammin.
