Confabulation: a memory error defined as the production of fabricated, distorted, or misinterpreted memories about oneself or the world, without the conscious intention to deceive.

Carl Polke (saxophone, electronics) and Chris Lewis (drum kit) are The Confabulations – continuing their longstanding musical connection with a night of bizarre fabrications and “subtly altered recollections.”

Demanding intense concentration and total body awareness, solo duo trio draws together the elements of singing, trumpet, percussion and dance – held in harmony by focus on the breath. Phil Day (trumpet, multi-instrumentalist) presents a boldly original performance that pushes the boundaries of improvised music and human endurance.
