Johnny Big was real big in Oz comedy in the 80s. A hilarious top ten single, a national TV show, loud shirts, Harbourside Sydney apartments … 25 years and millions of cocaine hits later, Johnny’s doing telemarketing for a living. Tonight, though, we watch Johnny’s chance at a comeback. Will Johnny be “big” again?

In a sparse room, of a deserted petrol station, Albanian shop owner Iazim Naco, reveals intimate and personal tales of life under a brutal communist regime. As the interview unfolds, Iazim discovers photographic and written evidence, which proves his father’s murder at the hands of the secret police. Based on the real life interview between Australian historian Dr Shannon Woodcock and Iazim Naco, “All things are true” shifts between 1960’s and present day Albania, as Iazim Naco struggles to understand not only the loss of a loved one but the loss of justice: “My conversation now is just 1 piece of a million of the whole - Iazim Naco
