Rehearsal Room Internships

PlayWriting Australia will be holding its 5th edition of the National Play Festival at Malthouse Theatre in Melbourne next year. We are delighted to come to the City of Literature to showcase some of Australia’s best new theatre writing and work alongside truly creative people.

As part of the Festival, we offer each year a series of internships tailored for passionate theatre-makers to observe the rehearsal room process in preparation for the public readings. Wherever we go we like to involve the local community and give them the opportunity to understudy some established playwrights, directors, dramaturgs and actors.

The Rehearsal Room Internships are now open for application until Monday 12 December 2011 and we would love it if you could promote this opportunity to your network in Melbourne.
