SONG FOR SIMON BIRMINGHAM: A LIFESTYLE CHOICE

In a world where plumbers audition for the role of unblocking your toilet, where the education minister pitches Hamlet to at least one dummy; where people eat dog-shit on New Year’s Eve, but secretly crave cat-shit instead, where fire and rabbits happily co-exist, and where 1113 people ‘like’ the fact that your pulse-rate is off the chart – will Gertrude find her dildo?

Uninvited Theatre returns in Cameron Sievers’ fifteenth production: Song for Simon Birmingham – a Lifestyle Choice: a razor sharp fist of comic, literary, sketches, in a sharpish looking velvet glove, with sharp bits dangling down the side.

This literate farce is important viewing for all practising creatives. The strong cast deliver their copious lines with a frenzied verve.
