IN HER ROOM
A showing of a work in progress. 1950s Eastern Europe. Stalin is in power. A woman lives alone. The typewriters of the Secret Services tap-tap-tap away as they record the lives of people. What is true and what is a lie? The camps are full of those who are deemed enemies. The woman writes stories. Ogres, princesses, myths. Reality is more frightening than any story. A room of memory, secrets and archives. The door opens. The dust is unsettled for a moment.
